Kaleidoscope in Mission Viejo is celebrating the holidays with festive events and activities throughout the season. Be sure to mark your calendars for Union Market Mission Viejo’s Holiday Pajama Movie Nights, every Wednesday evening at 6pm starting November 28 and running through December 19. 

The free evening of fun features a holiday-themed family movie shown inside Union Market’s event space. Movie goers can enjoy free popcorn and should bring their own seating such as blankets and pillows, folding beach chairs or even bean bags. The award-winning Portola Coffee will also offer $1 kid’s hot chocolate with the purchase of an adult drink. 

The schedule of Wednesday Holiday Pajama Movie Nights is: 
November 28 - How the Grinch Stole Christmas 
December 5 - Polar Express 
December 12 - Elf 
December 19 - Home Alone 

In addition, on Friday, December 14, The Holiday will be shown for teens, young adults and as a Holiday Date Night Movie. 

Kaleidoscope’s Tree Lighting happens Friday, December 7 from 6 to 9pm, and will include holiday crafts, face painting, a photo booth, visits with Santa, and festive food sampling inside Union Market Mission Viejo. Children of all ages will enjoy performances by Singer’s Company; A Storybook Nutcracker brought to life by students from the Pave School of the Performing Arts; and a high-energy holiday song and dance performance by students from OCSA’s (Orange County School of the Arts) MONTAGE! The dancers will be joined by Frosty, Rudolph and Santa himself for a countdown to light the 20-foot Noble Fir.
