How many kids? 2 What ages? 7 & 9
What city do you live in? Ladera Ranch
What is your favorite thing about being a mom? The cuddling!
What is your least favorite thing about being a mom? The messes!
Motherhood is full of surprises, what is one thing that has surprised you the most about being a mom? Some of my favorite phases were the ones other moms would warn me about…like, “terrible twos” More like “terrific twos” and “wait til they start walking…you’ll be chasing them everywhere” So not the case! I loved being able to carry my stuff in from the car without having to carry a baby as well! Less trips:-)
Do you have a career? I created The Cibo “Crumb Catching” Placemat
If so, any advice you can share on balancing the work/family life? I’m fortunate that I can work from home so I’m able to pick up the kids, get the homework done, and dinner made while emailing, packaging products and doing spreadsheets in between!
Give us your “inner Yoda” advice. What is that one thing you want to share with other moms? Make time for yourself, even if it’s an hour a week. You will feel refreshed and be a better mom because of it.
When not with your kids, what do you like to spend time doing? I LOVE seeing movies by myself. Just something so relaxing about being in there alone, without emails or kids asking for anything
Date night? Any great finds or places you like on date night? We love Hanna’s in RSM but my favorite date night is opening a good bottle of wine and sitting outside. I tell the kids this is Mommy & Daddy time and they are not to bother us:-) It’s a great way to catch up and feel connected without having to get a sitter and go out.
What’s for dinner? I love to cook. Honestly, being alone in the kitchen cooking is actually a joy for me. I just made al pastor enchiladas and the other night it was Tikka Masala in my pressure cooker. Best.invention.ever!
Five year plan. Where do you see yourself five years from now? Wow, I hope to have The Cibo on the shelves of several big box stores all over the world
I am blessed, beyond anything I could ever have imagined… I am just the most grateful person I know. I truly and wholeheartedly appreciate God, my family, and my life…even if I never sell another Cibo again, I am blessed.
