“We viewed the first year as a test run and it was huge success,” said Brad Billington of Mirage Entertainment, the organizers behind this year’s Winter Fest. “We listened to all the customer feedback and expanded the event this year to deliver on everything our customers wanted – more attractions, more lights, more holiday-themed food and drink and exciting new entertainment for all ages.”
Also new this year will be live shows and meet and greets from kid’s TV and movie favorites including Barbie, Bob the Builder, Octonauts, Thomas and Friends, Angry Birds, Sid the Science Kid, and Caillou. Other magical photo opportunities include the world’s largest rocking horse, inside a giant snow globe and of course on Santa’s lap.
Winter Fest is a giant wonderland of immersive wintry fun. Back by popular demand is a nightly tree lighting ceremony, 130-foot, six lane Snowflake Summit ice-tubing slide, strolling carolers, live bands, personal visits in the cabin home of Mr. and Mrs. Claus, trackless train rides, carnival rides and games, arcade games, Little Elves Workshop with crafts, bounce houses, and VIP Cabanas to host the perfect holiday party.
